
Ray Bennett, The Hollywood Reporter
Ray Bennett has been with The Hollywood Reporter for 18 years, first in Los Angeles and now in London where he reviews movies and West End theatre, and attends film festivals around the world. He also is a contributing editor and writer of Cue Entertainment, the leading UK home entertainment trade magazine. Trained in his native England, he has held senior positions on big city newspapers and national magazines in Canada and the United States. He has written for the Toronto Star, Los Angeles Herald Examiner, Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Daily News, People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Variety, Reuters and many others. A member of BAFTA and the London Critics’ Circle, he has appeared frequently on BBC radio and television, and other UK television channels, and moderated panels at the Book Publishers’ Convention, the Hollywood Reporter/Billboard Film Music Conference in Los Angeles and Festival de Cannes.
